Cachopas Yoga Nature Lodge
Cachopas Yoga Nature Lodge is a small eco retreat centre in the backyard of Odeceixe situated at to the southwest coast of Portugal. The place is integrated on an eco friendly farm with some farm and house animals, where they do organic dynamic garden. Buildings are all made out of sustainable material like clay and wood. The farm itself runs mainly by it´s own energy and water system, a self providing concept.
The lodge is located in it´s own charming valley, surrounded by untouched nature, close to beautiful beaches and one of the best beaches & surf spots in Portugal and lays directly at a very beloved hiking trail. Here you can enjoy the silence, listen to the sound of nature, wake up listen to the bird singing, seeing the sunrise and in the evening the sunset. Stargazing in the evening is loved and fantastic here as there is no public light. Yet you are close and still foot distance apart to the next town and beaches.
The area is a destination for nature lovers, surfer, yogis, people interested in a more sustainable lifestyle. The warm climate all year around, wild beaches, the landscape and the art of living of Portugal´s residents makes it attractive to many people to come here.
The yoga retreat centre has been created by a german couple Chris & Tanja and became home and is run by it´s family.
Yoga classes are offered regularly, there are workshops and yoga retreats all year around. If you looking for a place to slow down, re-connnect with yourself and fill yourself up with new and fresh energy then this is the place to be.
